Programmer (Intensive) Certificate

Program Description

Computer programmers are responsible for writing and designing software programs. In order to successfully achieve this, a programmer must be proficient in a variety of programming languages—languages such as C++, C#, Java and Visual Basic.

The Programmer (Intensive) Certificate, offered at Bramson ORT College, is designed to provide students with thorough, detailed knowledge of how to approach solving real-world business problems using popular software languages like C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic and .Net Programming. When finished with the Programmer (Intensive) Certificate graduates will have a basic understanding of the different programming languages, and how to use them to write and design software programs.

The primary difference between the Junior Programmer Certificate and the Programmer (Intensive) Certificate, here at Bramson ORT College, is the degree of detail provided in each program. The Programmer (Intensive) Certificate is a more comprehensive programming certificate than the Junior Programmer Certificate.

Credits obtained by students while in the Programmer (Intensive) Certificate program are transferable to two-year and four-year programs at Bramson ORT College and other colleges and universities worldwide. In order to earn the Programmer (Intensive) Certificate at Bramson ORT College, a student must complete at least 30 credits.
