Computer Networks and Fiber Optic Networks

Computer Networks is one of the most advanced and popular field of engineering and technology today. I am teaching various Computer Networks, Fiber Optic Networks, Computer Engineering and Electronics classes, which I established during last seven years.
Computer network program includes classes, which cover all fields of modern data- and telecommunication networks, including detailed study of Local, Metropolitan and Wide Area Networks, network hardware, software, protocols ( including TCP / IP, SPX / IPX, NetBIOS / NetBEUI, routing protocols ), internetworking , wireless and optical networks, network security, client-server systems, network operating systems (including Windows 2003 server, active directory ), VoIP and many other advanced topics in modern telecommunications.
Fiber Optic Networks class is one of the most interesting in Networking program.
All modern computer networks use Fiber Optics. However, there are almost no colleges and universities which have such class. Knowledge of fiber optic systems gain probability to obtain qualified job in the field modern networking. However, class also covers other applications of fiber optic equipment ( medical, industrial, etc. )
I give to student a strong theoretical background of computer and network systems as well as I share with my students such practical knowledge of hardware and software , which many engineers have after many years of experience.
I believe, that to know this is not necessary to have own practical experience. People can study this from experience of other people, who design, maintain and troubleshoot networks, computers and electronics.
In addition to Networking classes program includes detailed study of computer systems ( with emphasis in PC systems ), computer maintenance operations, electronics ( analog and digital ), operating systems, computer architecture and microprocessors.
I teach student how to apply obtained knowledge not only for data communications, but also possible application for such important fields as electrical power engineering, industrial electronics, CNC, control of HVAC systems, etc. Therefore, I am willing to develop and establish a special customized classes or academic program to teach networking , computer- and electronic systems according to requirements of specific companies.
